Co-Counsel

Amer Innabi, Esq., is a co-counsel at Innabi Law Group. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and earned his law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. Amer has assisted in the recovery of several six and seven-figure settlements while representing both individuals and small business owners against large corporate and governmental entities for over a decade as a litigator. Amer also handles matters relating to personal injury, employment law, general liability, governmental tort liability, strict product liability, employment, business litigation, and appellate practice matters.

Attorney Innabi’s responsibilities at the firm include all facets of litigation from drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions, to conducting and defending depositions, participating in mediations, handling trials, and briefing matters for appeal.

Prior to joining Innabi Law Group in 2008, Amer served as in-house counsel for a claims administrator that specialized in the handling of high exposure product liability injury lawsuits throughout the world for various Japanese and American manufacturers and distributors. Amer has evaluated case exposure, set reserves, retained outside legal counsel, negotiated settlements, acted as a liaison between the insurer and insured, interpreted and evaluated insurance coverage for various types of policies, coordinated and facilitated litigation strategies, organized and performed investigations, and managed case budgets. He is familiar with national and international product liability trends, issues, and laws and has handled matters involving products such as automobiles, tires, power tools, chemicals, industrial machinery, forklifts, printing presses, electronics, component parts, and other consumer products. In essence, Amer is very familiar with the inner workings of defense strategies and highly experienced in valuing various types of personal injury cases.

Amer is most known for having review granted in two separate petitions by the California Supreme Court in the matters of Ennabe v. Manosa (2014) 58 Cal.4th 697 and Ramirez v. City of Gardena (2017) 5 Cal.5th 995. The Supreme Court only accepts about 1-2% for review every year. Attorney Innabi accomplished this before the age of 40.

In his free time, Amer enjoys spending time with his family, going to the gym, playing basketball, attending concerts, and traveling.
